this is POI.
i always thought poi was some kinda of lame traditional dance..
i take that back!
it's so intense ok!

i'll also burn all my hair off.
so,
i went to patrick's first poi lesson yesterday afternoon.
we,
of course didnt start with fire or that cool light thing.
we got something WAY cooler...
striped knee length socks with tennis balls!
wtf.
ahhaah!
beginners...
treez and i at our first go.
you might think it's just easy swings,
it requires skills ok!!
you need to make them turn parallel so you wont end up beating yourself up.
those people are the advance people.
we learnt the basics.
the carry turn.
the shoulder turn.
the hip turn.
with equal timing and split timing.
i then,
realized how much i suck in coordinating.
see the little girl in red at the corner,
she's so pro!
and she started together with us.

i whacked myself twice in the back of my head, 3 times on my calf, once at the near corner of my eye and once at the back shoulder.
my bruises are starting to appear...
surpisingly,
my arms dont hurt from all the spinning
:D
i wont like to go again next week but i dont know whether i have the time yet.
