went on a lil adventure with diane yesterday.
we went to waiheke island.
at the wharf.
seaweed hahah!
went to esquires.
after hot chocolate,
we went to board the ferry.

40 mins later,
we arrived..
waiheke baby!
wanted to rent a scooter and scoot around waiheke but diane didnt bring her license
:(
went to the art gallery.
it was a huge disappointment.
the artworks werent that great and there wasnt much to see.

i ran a race after taking this shot...
after we explored the tiny village,
we decided to go home.
we missed our bus.
the ferry leaves at 1pm.
it was 12.45pm.
the next ferry leaves at 2pm.
we had to catch the 1pm ferry because we didnt want to be trapped in waiheke for another hour.
so,
we ran to the ferry point.
RAN.
RAN.
RAN for 15 minutes.
i asked a local for directions and she said to follow the signs.
i saw the first sign and followed it.
it led us down this country bushy mountainy path.
we ran.
following the path.
i kept looking out for the next sign but there wasnt any.
5 mins into the run,
i began to wonder why i see no water.
the ferry point should be around water right??
why am i seeing mountains and bushes??
after every corner i hope to see water,
but i kept seeing another stretch of hilly path.
god,
i never ran so much before.
it was like the amazing race MINUS the million dollars.
10 mins into the run,
i looked back to check on diane,
but couldnt find her.
wtf.
she was way behind.
so i kept running.
12 minutes into the run,
i FINALLY see water.
ran faster!
caught it just in time,
they wanted to untie the rope and leave.
i was so breathless,
i couldnt speak.
i was panting like an idiot.
wtf.
i managed to kill time talking to them so diane could catch up.
hahhaah!
diane ran with her shoes off.
and the gravel path was damp and had moldy areas,
so yah,
her sparkling white pair of socks had solid black bottoms.
LOL.
she chucked them away.
we sat and tried to regain normal breathing.
everyone was staring us..
lol
slept throughout the journey home.
back to auckland.
didnt end up going to parnell.
too tired.
WAY TOO TIRED.
so tired we didnt bother talking to each other.
slept throughout the bus ride home.
spent $40 on transportation,
wtf.
oh yah.
woke up from sleep on the bus and diane dropped her dslr,
smashed the lens.
omg.
we lost so much on this trip.
well,
at least now i can say ive been to waiheke.
