my first shooting experience:

i signed up for shooting this year.
it's on every monday from 4-6pm.
$10 for two rounds.

after school, nicole, denise, and i got hot chips. then, grace joined us and we walked to the rifle club.

we had to lie on our bellies. the rifle's so damn heavy! it's impossible to lift it while lying down. we had this little square box before us to help support the weight.

the procedure:

-load the rifle
-lock the rifle
-aim (taking your sweet time)
-fire

that black stuff you see on the wall isnt our targets. our target sheets are way smaller than that (not visible in the photo)

we didnt have to wear ear muffs or those ugly glasses, thank god for that.
the shot sounded like a whip.
oh, and when you pull the trigger,
you just jerk very very slightly,
come to think of it, jerk is an overstatement.
it's more like the rifle move a bit.
definitely not like you see in the movies,
where their shoulders bulk and body rock.
no drama one.

my first attempt. i scored 70.
i think the highest possible score is 101.1

my second attempt.
i improved! 86

the closest shot.
i didnt get a bull's eye :(
nevermind, i still have my chances.

my lousiest shot.
hahah, so, blind.
the 'lens' thingy (dont know the proper term) we look through to aim is only 1 mm in diameter.

bullet shells.

shooting's so much fun!
but you have to be careful,
if you get shot,
you'll die.
