i got a macbook.
I GOT A MACBOOK.
I GOT MY VERY OWN MACBOOK!!!!!
so, this is my first, official blog entry from my mac. i was planning to get it this year end but my assignments proved too demanding. no question on how good it looks but it's not as easy to use compared to the imac. the touchpad? (dont know the name for it) is so bloody annoying; there is no right click button, no, actually there is no button at all. i have yet to download the microsoft software, something im not looking forward to. i probably get either one of my brothers to do it for me, heh.
you cant really see how each individual key lights up from beneath here but i can assure you "it's so hot" if you're in to looks, get the macbook otherwise go for another brand. i personally dont like macs, i only bought it because of certain graphics features i'll probably need in when i go to uni.
oh, i bragged so much, i forgot the details- i got the macbook pro 15" 2.4ghz. i really liked the 13" macbook's size but it doesnt come in the pro version, what a bummer. the 15" is too big, not so practical to carry around. the price was quite reasonable; the original price was $3699.00 but dad bargained it for $250 less. im paying for half. i worked so hard on the figures in my bank account and just like that, im going to be $1725.00 poorer. 2009's resolution- save more money. i did the exact opposite, oopsy daisy, i'll save more next year, hah (hope so) i'll be going down to harvey norman tomorrow to get the bag, my mac needs protection, hahah. im planning to get the light blue crumpler bag. it's another $89, i'll try bargain, apparently i suck but whatever.
im going to get the baby blue one :)
im home on a friday night. ah! hit me. no one wanted to go out with me!! "no money" "ive got a dinner" bla bla bla. i guess it's a blessing in disguise considering that im so behind in assignments, heheh. ive got to have painting task 1 completed by monday and im not half way done. i've got a sculpture formative on monday and im not quarter way done. to make things more challenging, i only have tomorrow to tidy up both assignments because my sundays are always occupied by work.
to posh up my school leaving certificate, i got myself involved with house committee, asian council, badminton and shooting. im still contemplating on the ball committee.
one more thing, ive got to say this out loud- "i love cooking mama!" megs said she'll loan her ds to me! yay, she'll probably drop it in my mailbox on saturday night. i need to make room for distraction!
