okay, im finally typing up this ridiculously delayed post. i almost thought of giving up blogging, but i changed my mind again, like always. it's 2009. yay! brand new year to live for. i cannot say that 2008 has been a great year. come to think of it, it was actually the most stressful, tiring 365 days so far. anyway, it feels good to start all over again :)

so, the last night of 2008 was spent by having steamboat with family.

he was super bored so he went in search for his 'friends' in the bush. no one attended to him cause we were too busy eating.

went over to meg's after that. then, singstar-ing halfway, the clock struck twelve, "HAPPY NEW YEAR". jelly, 'one litre of tears', 'sydney white'. i was suppose to go home a little after twelve but i ended up staying the night. slept at around 5.30 in the morning *oh, record-breaking for an early bird like me* at around 8.45am, phone alarm went off so i gathered my things and walked home half asleep and blind (chuck my contacts before i slept) miracle, i didnt get run down my a car. had to quickly wash up and get ready for work. oh, i forgot to take my umbrella again! so, my new year's day was all about work.

tomorrow will mark the end of the first week of 2009. ah, and i havent accomplished anything! even worse, i havent done anything else other than work. 35 hours a week, i find physically exhausting. everyone seems to be falling sick a bit too often, either that or they're off somewhere around the globe holidaying. im always falling victim to covering shifts. hm, with that said, lots of work hours isnt that bad. it's very comforting knowing that im earning rather than spending the big bucks, it works wonders in my bank account :)

i still havent figured when exactly subject confirmation day is, hm.

oh, mum told me she had a surprise for me a few days ago. she said it's her new year's present to me =.=?? i think she has gone cuckoo, so weird. anyway, i uncovered a yellow bag. um, only because of the freakishly large smile on her face, i decided to fake how much i loved the bag. i've been saying how much i want a yellow bag lately and it's so touching to know that people actually listen to me, hahah. but. this bag.. i find so asian-LALA, the size is so retarded for me too; it's not exactly small and not big too. god, i feel so rotten. anyway, i used it yesterday just to make mum happy. uh, so embarrassing. anyhoo, moving on..

i bought a black sling-bag a week ago and i am absolutely in love with it :)
