mummy's birthday dinner tonight.!! :D she said she wanted a butter cake because she's so sick of chocolate cakes. *bakes cake* i was short of sugar, but i thought the icing will make up for it. then, i couldnt find the baking powder, so i used self raising flour. i needed 3/4 of cocoa powder but i only had 1/4. i also had trouble finding the electric mixer so i hand whisked everything, arms so sore now. i baked a butter cake, SO I THOUGHT. i took the cake out of the oven and wondered why my cake's brown. then, i went to check the recipe. CHOCOLATE CAKE. omfg. i was looking at the wrong recipe the whole entire time! UHHHHH.! stupid cocoa powder. i baked the cake for an extra half and hour, it just wouldnt seem to cake up. it looks like a disaster so far BUT i will fix it. i'll make it pretty. i'll bake butter cupcakes and make them a part of the cake.
