went on a lil adventure on wednesday :)

got bored during interval so we..

flagged school and went down to the beach.

8 more days of high school left,

it's now or never.

drove down to cockle bay beach first.

spotted a jellyfish..

couldnt tell whether it was dead or alive..

figured it was dead after a while.

anyhoo, thanks to dana and nicole,

we finally made it to our destination.

the old building we had to pass to get to the lookout point.

the steps were so damn steep!

the rocks were so natural and beautiful!

i was reeking of saltwater.

this trip got me craving for fun.

the spontaneity made it so much more exciting

there's only 3 weeks left of high school until we break off for study leave.

after reading cheesie's blog post about jellybellys the other day,

i went and got myself a pack.

im not a fan of jelly beans but seriously,

you have to try these jelly beans.

i went for my very first blood test today.

it was disgusting!

stupid trainee stuck the needle in me before finding my blood vessel.

took 2 tubes of blood.

i cant believe stayed at home for art history assignment and a blood test and gave up the chance of dressing up as a criminal today !

exam week officially ends tomorrow! hate! ! i absolutely love exam weeks. its crazy cruisy for me seeing that i only have 2 exams. you heard me, TWO exams. exam weeks normally last for 2 weeks. so, that means i get the remaining 8 days (excluding the weekends) as extra holiday! school resumes next week but it's okay; there's a silver lining under this cloud - term holidays begin after next week! my holidays seem never ending! i'll be turning this holiday into catch up time though, so many assignments to work on!

hectic day today. woke up late. forgot everything, even my contact lens. how is that possible? i dont know. had to meet people at certain places, interview people and work. crazy. just got home an hour ago. i extended my shoe collection :D

anyway, spring is here and ive never missed winter more. damn, after today's walking experience, i remember what sweat is again- the dirtiest, most unpleasant feeling ever! bro took some amazing photos of flowers in the garden. so crazy beautiful, i'll post them in the next post.

making last minute improvements!

decided to cut table mats for the dishes;

it'll also protect the sarong from being heavily stained

hibiscus i handmade.

it was painful!

had to draw, paint, cut, fold, find cottonbuds!, paint them, tape everything together!

i think i made 11.

we managed to tape the parasol at an angle.

yay theresa and dana!

i cut and paste all that the morning of the festival.

i'd be better off walking in the rain looking like a drenched chicken than having to face the embarrassment of not being able to fight the strong wind with my flimsy umbrellie.

auckland had a 'spring day';

rainy & windy.

so not shopping weather.

anyway,

diane brought along this magical umbrella!

dont let its pretty looks fool you.

it isnt one of those pretty umbrellas which completely fails you on days you buy them for.

the design is really sweet.

it has a baby ribbon attached to the velcro strap.

it also has that black dangling thingmagingy.

it protected us from the rain and wind without any hassle.

everyones' umbrella was flipping like crazy!

post hillcrest body is buckets of pain and ache. i cant walk straight or walk without whining. i havent pushed my body so much in so long, proves how physically unfit i am. ah, im dying to go back to the gym but i dont have the time!

i forgot to mention, my racket string broke after playing hillcrest yesterday. thank god that it only broke after the match not during the match. ah, i was so lucky that day:

-came out victorious even when i played half blind.

-strings broke right after the match.

anyway, ive been recently hooked to the song 'crazier' by taylor swift. another current favourite is 'already gone' by kelly clarkson. check it out :)

today is our school's annual hillcrest sport exchange day.

5 girls including me represented in girl's badminton.

sorry to say,

we lost again.

hillcrest is plain undefeatable.

difference is that they train hardcore and we never train,

we have never even played with our own team mates before.

i won my singles match

the only game won by the girls,

but it was an overall loss though.

we exchanged our ribbons at the end of the game.

i now have 2!

when playing on the courts,

i kept complaining how my vision was blur.

"i cannot see!!"

i had so many unbelievable misses,

so frustrating.

anyway,

i got home and removed my lens,

and realized that my right len was non existent.

i was the most negative person,

i came totally prepared for smackdown loss.

but i ended up the sole winner for the girls.

hahahhahah.

i so do not deserve this.

but then again,

my winning didnt make a difference as we loss all our other games.

went to botany to get christine's birthday present on tuesday after school.

shorale, theresa and ruby got her gloves!

we got her something else but i'll only blog about it after we give it to her.

i stuffed it into this pink box along with some pink fur.

i then baked baby cupcakes for her lil school lunch celebration.

i was suppose to bake an extra 3 large cupcakes;

i wanted to write:

"Happy" on cupcake 1

"Birthday" on cupcake 2

"Christine" on cupcake 3

as you can see..

my plan didnt happen.

failed!

i forgot to put it into the muffin cut tin.

so stupid.

anyway,

bro made me pink, blue and purple sugar to sprinkle on the cupcakes

i think i made 40 of them.

i spent the whole night on those cupcakes!

stupid dog woke me at 7am.

couldnt go back to sleep.

finally got back to sleep;

had to catch the bus to botany.

met up with shorale.

studied at library.

went to shorale house to 'further study'

aunty esther (shorale's mum) helped me a lot with my assignment;

she gave me lots of suggestions

bought 2 rings.

they didnt have medium size but i still bought them cause they were pretty.

it's a bit loose but it's still wearable.

finally bought new earphones!

no more obese earphones squeezing into my ears.

theyve been abusing my ear for the past whole year!

i plan to bling these new earphones of mine,

mwahahah!

bought dad 3 cds.

a john mayer one and 2 oldies.

oh yah,

i re-coloured my hair today.

it's officially dead now.

went to the malaysian nyonya restaurant last night.

kerapu pork.

sambal eggplant which i didnt touch.

salt & pepper squid.

asam fish.

kampung tofu.

daddy & big bro.

mummy & younger bro.

cendol & pearl galore for dessert.

only dishes missing was crab and prawns.

they didnt have crabs that night and the prawns were not fresh.

i was back home (kuching) for 2 hours.

now,

dumped back into new zealand again.

went down botany cause i had to go to flower & co.

gotta get flowers for mum's graduation.

i know,

im congratulating my mother for graduating,

not the other way around.

she put in extra effort to study now because she never had the chance to get a degree during her time.

im so proud of her.

busy body hero came to ~~eat~~ sniff the flowers.

aw, love you mummy!

after i bought the flowers at the mall,

i got distracted.

hehe.

there were sales everywhere!!!

i couldnt resist.

i ended up buying two jackets.

just got home from accompanying mum to buy her pandora beads.

she bought 4 more.

attended TWO church services on sunday.

so holy, haha.

sleepover.

anyway,

rebecca (nat's gf) and i followed shorale's family home from church.

had her mum's claypot mushroom chicken rice for lunch.

made becs eat green chilli to prove white people can also eat chilli,

haahaahh!

then,

we all went shopping at dresssmart

cheap stuff is always good.

bought this $90 dollhouse dress for a only $10!

cheap right?

the colour is a bit distorted in the photo.

it's actually fuschia.

shorale, becs and i got it.

cant wait for triple-in-a-day at oxygen.

we'll be triplets!

i came home and pinned my black bow on it.

it looks way better!

anyway,

i bought a man's shirt/blouse thingy for $10 too

ahh...

everything was $10.

life's so good.

also bought a $2 tartan hair tie from lippy but i left it at shorale's

dropped becs home.

got home from dresssmart at around 4.45pm.

uncle james dropped shorale, nat and i down tofu shop to get ingredients for dinner.

walked home and shorale and i cooked dinner.

we cooked korean beef, korean spicy potato dish and garlic bolts.

we had to rush off to church at 5.45pm.

met our friend there.

finished at around 7.30pm.

we to rent movies for the night.

got home.

ate dinner we cooked.

halfway eating,

our friend texted saying he became a christian.

woohoo!

we rang him up and had the funniest conversation ever,

well, sort of;

i was 'behind the scenes'

anyway, we only started the first movie at 11.15pm.

slept at 2.30am.

played with kira.

played with music.

went home at 4pm the next day,

exhausted.

i forgot my camera!

but i still had loads of fun.

ahh,

i feel so guilty everytime i have fun.

need to do school stuff!!

i cooked stuff today!

i know,

rare occasion!
